Carrying on the Tradition

In the years since Bridgewater College was founded as the Spring Creek Normal School and Collegiate Institute in 1880, BC has established a rich history and tradition of educating thousands of men and women, carrying on the College’s mission of educating the whole person in mind, body and spirit.

Bridgewater College is able to fulfill this mission and carry on our traditions because of the generosity of our alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends who support the College with gifts now and in the future. These future gifts—planned gifts—are explained on this website.

A bequest through your will is perhaps the simplest way to make a planned gift to Bridgewater College. Gifts through retirement plans or life insurance are other ways to ensure future support. Additionally, there are giving options that provide income back to you or your loved ones. These types of gifts can feature numerous tax and financial benefits.

We are happy to provide additional information to you or your advisors, in confidence and with no obligation. Thank you for helping Bridgewater College continue our traditions and educate future generations of students.
